About Me
Hi there, hello!
I’m Alexander, originally from San Antonio, Texas. I’m currently a graduate student at USC’s Peter Stark Producing Program, and completed my undergraduate studies at NYU Tisch, where I studied film & television production, mathematics, and business.
I’m not entirely sure how to “introduce” myself on the internet, so I suppose I’ll talk about how I spend my time (even though that’s somewhat lower on the list of things that define us).
For starters, I spend about a third of my time sleep. I love sleeping! #1 Hobby.
I spend another third of my life working (… often more than a third). I work in film and television, love it, and can’t see myself doing anything else, although along the way I’ve had fun working some unexpected jobs, like doing drone photography for the Texas State Parks and producing videos for NASA.
When I’m not sleeping, working, or completing the errands of everyday life, I distribute the remaining third of my time doing other fun things, such as:
hanging out with friends
hiking/traveling/photography [Photos]
writing random stuff, a new/fairly recent hobby [Writing]
reading books [Goodreads]
playing games [Backloggd]
watching movies/tv shows [Letterboxd]
watching sports (particularly Chelsea FC and the San Antonio Spurs)
organizing random things (like arbitrary spreadsheets I make)
learning random things
eating food (particularly pastries)
and I’ve recently taken up taking care of plants! Might expand that into gardening, we’ll see.
This website is probably the best consolidation of my stuff, since I don’t use social media. You could check out my LinkedIn or IMDb, but most of the information there is already here as well.
I suppose that sums it up? (Or really not at all, but at least it answers the question of how I tend to spend my time).
Cheers,
Alexander
